Part-Time American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter (On-Site with Occasional Remote Work for Events)
Schedule: Tuesday – Thursday, 8 AM – 5 PM Contract Duration: 6 Months, with a High Probability of Extension.
Compensation: Up to $50 per hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced, American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to support our team part-time.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and facilitate clear and effective communication between hearing and Deaf individuals, primarily on-site.
- Occasionally provide remote interpretation services during local events, as needed.
- Collaborate with a computer-assisted communication tool to support and enhance the interpreting process.
